Recipe for fish with garlic sauce and fish packet

Fish is delicious and healthy. There are many ways to prepare fish; here two delicious recipes that don’t take a lot of work. Fish with garlic sauce is nice and spicy and the fish packet contains a lot of vegetables and a delicious sauce with white wine.
These two delicious recipes for fish are quick and easy to make. You don’t need many ingredients to make a delicious meal in a short time.
Recipe for fish with garlic sauce
Preparation time: about 10 minutes’ preparation and 20 to 25 minutes to cook.
Ingredients for 4 people
- 600 grams (1.32 lb) hake
- 1 cup of grated cheese
- 6 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 1 cup of fresh breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons of parsley and chives
- black pepper and salt
- 30 grams (1 ounce) butter
Preparation
Place the fish in a greased oven dish.
Grate the cheese and mix it with the mayonnaise and mustard. Make crumbs from fresh bread and mix these with the cheese mixture. Clean the cloves of garlic and crush them, add the parsley and chives and mix well. Bring to taste with some black pepper and salt. First spread some butter over the fish and then the mixture for the sauce.
Bake the fish in a preheated oven on 230˚C for 20 to 25 minutes until the fish is cooked.
Recipe for fish packet
Preparation time: about fifteen minutes preparation and 30 minutes to cook.
Ingredients for 4 people
- 600 grams (1.32 lb) hake
- 600 grams (1.32 lb) mixed vegetables
- 40 ml (1.35 oz) dry white wine
- Half a cup of milk
- 4 tablespoons of maizena
- Some salt and pepper
Preparation
Cut four pieces of aluminium foil of about 30 centimetres (1 ft) by 30 centimetres (1 ft) and fold the edges up slightly. Cut the vegetables in small pieces and divide about half over the pieces of aluminium foil. Now place the fish on top of the vegetables and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Divide the rest of the vegetables over the packets and fold these almost closed. Divide the white wine over the packets and close them. Bake the fish packets in a preheated oven on 200˚C for 30 minutes till the fish is cooked.
Take the packets out of the oven and carefully make a small hole in the aluminium foil to pour the moisture into a saucepan. Bring the moisture to the boil. In the meantime mix the maizena with the milk and add this to the moisture as soon as it boils. Keep stirring until the sauce thickens and then quickly remove from the heat. Add some salt and pepper to taste. Serve the fish packets and the sauce separately.
Tip
Very nice with mashed potato or with boiled potato and sour cream sauce.
